EVERGREEN REGION HOSTS ALUMNI WINE TOUR IN WOODINVILLE, WA: AUGUST 17, 2-5 PM
RECONNECT WITH YOUR BBYO BUDDIES WHILE SAMPLING FINE FOODS AND LOCAL WINES
On Sunday, August 17, 2008, come join BBYO alumni living in the Seattle area for an afternoon of fine food and wine sampling, reminiscing about old BBYO memories and meeting new friends. A $36 donation per individual or $72 per couple is suggested and all proceeds benefit Evergreen Region BBYO outreach efforts and scholarship funds. JOYCE KELLER HONORED AS 2008 ANITA PERLMAN DISTINGUISHED BBG ALUMNA OF THE YEAR It all started on a Sunday in May of 1967. Joyce Keller was on her way to a BBG program with her chapter, Ruach BBG, in Detroit, Michigan. BBYO TEENS' LANDMARK CONTRIBUTION LAUNCHES PARTNERSHIP WITH JDC BBYO teens recently donated $52,000 to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). Raised by students motivated exclusively by their desire to make a difference in the lives of those-in-need, the funds went primarily to JDC’s AMEN initiative – a program that engages Israeli teens in volunteer service.
